I just watched a Captain America cartoon a while back. Something with Alien Technology, Ironman, Hulk and Pym as Giant man.
't was pretty good, though, I wondered what a rebellous German hero would look like. But every hero needs a Nazi counter part:
Die Weiße Rose:
(If you don't know what the Weiße Rose really was, then you're not really good in history, pal. The "White Rose" was a German resistance group '42-43. You can read everything on Wikipedia I guess.)
As the brilliant scientist Henning Vogt refused to continue his work on a serum to increase the strength and endurance of soldiers permanently, while transforming them into mindless drones, his jewish love Greta was abducted and held ransom. Vogt, not able to let the woman he loved die, eventually continued his work, only to find out that Greta had already been killed. In incredible anger, Vogt would consume huge amounts of his own drug.
Resulting in superhuman powers. However, it came with a price, as his face mutated into a monstrous grimace.
Henning quickly joined the resistance, sporting self build armor and weaponry he would fight as the vigilante "Weiße Rose".
The arch nemesis:

(The Reich's (realm) eagle.)
A mysterious SS assassin, the name he uses most as an alias: Fritz Seifert.
Not much is known about that swift and most likely insane killer. Only, that he appeared from nowhere as one of the most famous assassins for the SS.
Using swords or a self improved Luger to terminate his enemies.
His reflexes and strength surpass those of normal humans by far.
He, like the Weiße Rose, is often seen to use experimental technology, like jet packs and heat ray cannons.

I think I'll do a series of German heroes/villains.
